Hourly Rates for Plumbers Great; cost of labour, overheads, profit, risk, and a bit extra for down time, repairing and sharpening tools etc. plus, of course, time to clean the work vehicle and add a bit for showering and cleaning up after the job is all done. Oh yes, don't forget that you have to pack and unpack the vehicle some times and pick up stuff on yor way. That's the 'Hourly Rate'.
